La Marquesa Golf Club is a well established course, being one of the first courses to be built on the Costa Blanca. Designed by Justo Quesada Samper in 1989, it is an 18 hole course with a par of 72. Challenging but not too demanding as the tees are all close to the greens. The bunkers, blind holes, streams and 2 lakes are a great test of skill and will always make for a good round of golf.

La Marquesa golf course offers a range of facilities including a restaurant, cafe, pro shop, buggy, club and caddy hire, putting green, covered practice green and changing rooms with showers and a sauna. The nearby commercial centre has a range of shops, bars, restaurants and banks.

Rojales is a typical Spanish farming village, nestled on the banks of the Segura river, it covers quite a large area and is well known for it’s traditional cave houses. With a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants, it is a pleasant village to explore and spend a lazy afternoon. The nearest beach is Guardamar del Segura, just a 10 minute drive away. This fantastic Blue Flag beach has all the usual amenities including volley ball nets and lifeguards. There is a marina offering all sorts of water sports.

For fantastic night life, the large town of Torrevieja is just a 15 minute drive from Rojales. There is a huge selection of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and nightclubs where one can enjoy an excellent evening either sampling the great Spanish cuisine or a free tapas with your drinks order in one of the traditional Spanish bars. For those with enough energy left after wining and dining, you can dance the night away in one of Torrevieja’s nightclubs.
