The close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and the fantastic weather in Costa Blanca are two of the principle reasons for the high levels of tourism to this beautiful part of Spain. The Costa Blanca or “White Coast” name is derived from the 200 kilometres of golden and white sandy beaches that account for much of the eastern coastline of Alicante.
